This Group is dedicated to the RCAF and USAF military and civilian personnel who served on the 44 sites of the Norad American-Canadian joint Pinetree Line during the Cold War. This site is in memory of Ren L'Ecuyer who started the massive web site called The Pinetree Line - and to his wife Margaret who carried on the site thru 2009.

It goes without saying that no website, simple or complex, will ever replace the huge Pinetree Line site. Ren put his hard work into it and it showed like no other site.

All ranks, trades, jobs, occupations, military and civilian personnel are welcome.

There will be improvements to this site thru 2009, with major changes at the end of the year. So join in and hang on. At least you can leave a message here and keep in touch.
